The students competed in an online Evening Debate on Wednesday 19 August 2020. The topic was "that wild harvested fisheries should be banned".

It was a great night of debating. The students' confidence in handling rebuttal has grown over the last few months and the adjudicators were impressed with the gusto with which the students tackled this difficult component of debating. The Affirmative teams won in debates 1 - 3. If you would like to join The Debating Club then please contact Debating Australia on debatingaustralia@gmail.com or 0402 618 890. Classes are held online on Tuesday afternoons at 3:30 to 4:30 pm or 4:35 to 5:35pm. The Club is open to year 4, 5 and 6 students.
