Thank you to all students for continuing to focus on our Positive Behaviour for Learning expectations right up to the end of our school year: Be Respect, Be Responsible, Be Safe and Be A Learner. Students are still striving to receive their Kookie awards which are reinforcing good behaviour choice for our playtimes and our classroom learning times.
Return Home Reading Books
Thank you to all families who have now returned any home reading books. Our staff are currently reorganising and sorting all our home reading resources for 2020 and would appreciate any books be returned to their class teachers as soon as possible please.
International Disability Awareness Day
Today marks International Disability Awareness Day. Our school is committed to Inclusive Education and Every Student With a Disability Succeeding. Year 6 Graduation
This Thursday morning we will be holding our annual Year 6 Graduation ceremony in the hall, followed by morning tea for student and guests. We are pleased to be joined by special guests, as well as many family and friends. Thank you to all those wonderful families who have volunteered and supported New Farm SS over the years and who are now departing our school with their youngest child graduating Year 6. On behalf of all our parents, staff and students, we wish you all the very best and hope you retain fond memories of your time at our school.
Dance Concert
Thank you to our Dance Instructors for preparing all our classes for tonight’s end of year concert. It is sure to be another wonderful performance with lots of great music, dancing and fun. Thank you to all our families for once again supporting this culminating event by attending and supporting the hard work of our classes.
Thank you 2020 P&C
Congratulations and thank you to our P&C executive for 2020. President: David Armstrong, Vice-President Janelle Moody, Treasurer Belinda Hill and Secretary Sheroo Wadia. It has once again an absolute pleasure working with David, Janelle, Belinda and Sheroo throughout the year on the many and varied fundraising events and other key initiatives. The executive are commended for their community minded approach to all they do and their selfless commitment to our school in a voluntary capacity. Despite their everyday jobs and busyness, they have been steadfast in their dedication and attention to detail in all they do. I am so proud to have had the opportunity to work alongside David, Janelle, Belinda and Sheroo, thank you for all our staff and students.
