Traffic Management Plan
Brisbane City Council offers help and guidance to local schools to develop tailored school traffic management plans (TMP) that assess traffic and safety challenges specific to the area and find appropriate solutions and strategies to address them. To support this important safety initiative, Council launched a recognition program earlier this year to offer all schools with a completed TMP the chance to win one of five fence banners each term in 2019 to highlight the winning schools’ focus on increasing safety in the local community.
Thank you to Councillor Vicki Howard who attended our Assembly today to congratulate New Farms SS on being a winner of a banner. This will be installed in Heal Street in the coming week.
