Swimming Lessons for some classes will begin this week. Welcome to the Preps!

There will be some classes in Years 5 and 6 beginning lessons in week 4 due to Gala Days.

Please check your child’s swimming attire to ensure that caps, goggles and sun shirts have not deteriorated, fit snuggly and are functioning properly, as regular adjusting of these items does take time away from the swimming lesson. 

• Goggles are required as they reduce eye discomfort, and enable the young learners to keep good head position in the learning of strokes.
• Caps that hold on snuggly to their head keep natural shedding of hair out of filter mechanisms as well as keeping it contained.
• Rash vests that fit snuggly enable the students to move through the water with less effort – loose shirts and board shorts lead to more effort and breathing to move through the water.
