Diwali Week
Year 2 celebrated Diwali in Week 5. On Thursday, they listened to the story of Diwali. Ananya, Blossom and Lakshay wore traditional Indian clothes and they acted out the story.
All Year 2s joined in activities like drawing and painting Rangoli patterns, constructing paper lanterns and elephants, and puzzles. Some 2G mums, Manisha Arora, Seema Masih and Jyothsna Upperpalli drew Rangoli patterns on hands using felt pens.
On Friday, Manisha created a colourful “Happy Diwali” sign under A Block using traditional Rangoli salts.
