As part of the New Farm Social Skills program under PBL, Year 5R have developed a 60 second Assembly video using the newly created Sound Stage, the newly purchased iPads and the newly purchased Make-Do construction kits. The teacher, Mr Ramos, utilised these facilities to get the message of being safe at the Pick-up and Drop-off zones before and after school. The ‘Flintstone’ type car parked itself in front of the green screen and the entire class piled out like the clowns from a circus car. The use of all these new facilities allow all students and teachers to have fun, learn new technical skills and pick up a very important Social Skill message.
