The Debating Club @ New Farm State School
The students competed in their first Evening Debate for 2019 on Tuesday 14 May. The topic was "that students should write report cards on their teachers".

For the majority of students, this was their first debate in front of an audience. Congratulations to all students for a successful debate and especially to Hayden who had only joined debating 2 weeks before the evening. The students' rebuttal was impressive. The Negative Team secured a win in Debate 1 and the Affirmative Team was the most convincing in Debate 2.
