Thank you for the warm welcome at New Farm State School last week.  It was fantastic to see so many parents attend the meeting before school and discuss the exciting opportunities that will be available for students attending Inner City North State Secondary College.  I also had the opportunity to speak to the school students, staff and parents on Assembly and spend some time with Year 4 and 5 students gathering their ideas about the school.  What an impressive group of students!  So many good ideas.  It was clear that some of them have been thinking about how they can contribute to the culture of the school already.  I’m looking forward to getting to know and working with the New Farm SS community in the lead up to the first day of the new school on Tuesday 28^th January, 2020.
