Inner City North State Secondary College News

It’s with great pleasure that I can share some of the exciting developments that are happening at our new school.  The building is progressing extremely well and the Brookes street precinct is on track to open for Year 7 students on 28^th January 2020.

Enrolment Process:

The Department of Education has released the final Catchment Map so ICNSSC is now able to accept formal applications for Expressions of Interest (EOI) for students enrolling in Year 7 in 2020.  (Enrolments for students in other year levels can only be accepted in the year prior to their commencement at ICNSSC.)

If you would like to submit an Expression of Interest please phone or email the college on 0436 802 065 or llove23@eq.edu.au.  

Completed applications will then be reviewed against the College’s admission guidelines as per the Enrolment Management Plan and families will be notified of the outcome in due course.  Prior to finalisation of the enrolment process, parents/caregivers and students will be invited to attend an enrolment interview with a member of the College Leadership Team.

Note that, if an initial Expression of Interest was submitted through the Building Future Schools website last year, a more detailed formal EOI will now need to be submitted to the school.

Community Event Invitation

I am pleased to be hosting a Community Event on Saturday, 1^st June.  Families and community members are invited to meet with key staff members, see the designs for the school, discuss enrolments and curriculum offerings and the innovative ways that the school is building partnerships in the local community.  I look forward to seeing you there and discussing the exciting progress that’s being made ready for 2020!
