The plant stall

The plant stall would like to send out an urgent call for potted plants, ceramic plant pots, plastic plant pots and recycled drink bottles and recycled food containers.

Apart from collecting potted plants, we are also collecting recycled drink bottles and food containers which we cover in fabric/decorative paper or paint to serve as decorative outer pots. We are collecting:

1. Tins (for example tins for baked beans, tomatoes, coconut milk et cet.)
2. Glass containers (for example salsa jars, tomato passata bottles,  pickled vegetable jars etc)
3. Plastic containers (for example yoghurt and sour cream containers)
4. Plastic bottles (soft drink and water bottles).

Many thanks,

Klaske Galama and Anna Radford - Class 2P Fete Reps (Plant Stall)

THRIFT SHOP!

A reminder that we'll be collecting for the Fete Second Hand Stall aka Thrift Shop on Monday and Wednesday mornings between 8.15 - 9.15am each week leading up to the fete.  Please note the extended hours! You can easily park at the top of Hawthorne St after the second bell so you don't have to carry your donations too far. Please drop the items off under B block - looks for the signs!

We are happy to accept:

- Clothes (kids and adults) including shoes and dress-ups

- Toys of any kind

- Bikes, scooters and other sporting goods

- Books (which will go to the book stall)

If there's anything in particular that you'd like to donate that isn't included in these categories, feel free to email me to check before you bring it in. (hellomegang@gmail.com)

We are still on the hunt for extra clothes racks, so if you have any we can borrow for the day please let us know!

 Thank you!

Busking

Student and teacher will be entertaining you with busking at the fete. Busking is when people entertain others for money donations. The money earned will be donated to the school. You have to be able to skilfully play an instrument, sing or dance. You will need to provide your own speakers and equipment. There will be no power supply.

If you are interested or would like more information please add your name to the list outside the library and we will be in touch. Once you are on our list, you will be issued with a performance time for Fete day. You need to commit to this and not back out. We are so excited that you might take part helping raise money for the school fete. Thank you.
