Week 5

Prefabricated building-

As our newest project is drawing to completion we would like to express our sincere appreciation for all involved over the last three months through the planning and delivery process.

Special thank you to our P&C Executive for their efforts with the project. Departmental staff, Keith Johnson and Shane Kruse for their availability for questions and advice. Fleetwood contractors, especially Damien Knight and Chris Neil plus all the contractors who have worked on site. We are very pleased with the results and look forward to moving in.

Wednesday 20 May – Fleetwood contractors will hand over the building. Thank you to Damien and Chris for the efforts in delivering this building on time. They have been very accommodating on all requests from the school.

Final fitted out of the building will happen over the next few weeks- these include telephone connection, installation of data boards and final adjustments to the display boards and wiring in classrooms.

Plans are underway for the selected classes to move to the new building- details of which Year levels are to follow.

Oval Refurbishment- Lauder and Sons builders

• This week the steel handrail for the stairs will be installed
• The decking and walking bridge to connect the concrete walkway will be completed.
• All efforts will be made to still have access for student whilst the contractors are on site.
• Plant selection has now been finalised and will begin shortly.
• Artificial turf will be installed at the top of the old stair case.
• Painting and final sections of the fencing will begin in the next few weeks.
• Fencing to be replaced in Heal Street will commence in the next few weeks.
