Jabiru Vacancies During Construction
With all the new exciting works happening within the school, we have been limited with what areas we can access to deliver our Jabiru program. To ensure we are continuing to provide a quality program for our enrolled families, we have had to unfortunately reduce the number of children we can accommodate for a few weeks, from 160 to 108. This number is based on the National Regulations for space requirements for an after school program.
What this means for our families:
We now have only 108 vacancies to offer each afternoon. Families with permanent/ongoing bookings will be unaffected, as they have already secured their spots on the roll.
- If you do not have a current booking and you think you may need one, we would encourage you to book immediately to avoid missing out on a place.
- If a child turns up to Jabiru, without a booking, they cannot be accepted.
- Should you be unable to book in for your needed day, you will need to email the service to be added to a wait list.
- Please advise us if your child is enrolled for any CEP programs (ie: karate, acrobatics, drama etc…), as this may increase the number of places we can offer on these days.
This arrangement is only temporary and we thank you for your patience and understanding during the construction and building works at New Farm State School. We will keep all of our enrolled families up to date with this progress, and hope to be able to waive the waitlist and resume accepting all bookings in the coming weeks.
