Excursions and Incursions
This fortnight selected students in Year 3 and 4 students from across the City Collective have been involved in Mini-Festivals in a range of areas such as STEM, Writing, Maths, Art. Thanks to Mr Curby and Ms Joynson for their involvement in presenting the STEM and Writing workshops. Next week Prep students are attending a Rhyming Puppet Show incursion, Year 1 students have a Science incursion, Year 4 will be attending their ‘First Contact’ excursion and next week Year 5 head off to the Emu Gully Camp. I look forward to joining the Year 5 staff and students for this excursion.
Staff Update
Welcome to our new Head of Student Educational Support (HOSES) Ms Pauline Holness. Ms Holness joins Ms McLeod in the Inclusion pillar and has spent time over her first fortnight, meeting and supporting students and staff. We were also pleased to welcome back Mrs Garcet (née Ms Zayn Al-Abidin) for 6 weeks this term while back in Australia.
2026 Prep Enrolments Process
We are currently in the process of interviewing new students and families for our prep 2026 cohort. The transition to prep includes are range of opportunities for students and families, including: 1. Enrolment interview, 2. Kookie’s Playgroup sessions (6 sessions in both Term 3 and Term 4), 3. Tours of the school; 4. 2026 P-6 Enrolment information evening 3 September; and 5.
