The Australian Actors Studio now in its 28^th year offers young people an exciting drama course with a difference. Covering all the basics that every actor requires but focussing on 'in front of camera' performance skills.

Whilst developing a whole range of communication and performance skills, this is a great way to get started and find out about a possible career in a very exciting industry.  Students will be working with cutting edge scripts from some of their favourite TV shows and television commercials with some performances filmed and played back.

Under the guidance of industry professionals who bring with them years of experience in the film & television and performing arts world.  The only acting academy of its kind that puts students in front of the camera!   At the successful completion of the first level, students have the option to continue on to more advanced workshops, culminating in a certificate of completion.

Youth classes are available for students grade 5 and above and are held on Monday afternoons at 4pm at the Metro Arts Theatre, Brisbane CBD.  The current intake will be for workshops commencing week 2, Term 2.

The Beginners acting workshops are not only for the aspiring actor but also are a great platform for personal development and confidence building in a creative and positive environment.
