Moderation
Last week our teachers engaged in Moderation within our school.
What is Moderation?
Moderation is designed to improve the consistency of teacher judgements and grades. Teachers engage in moderation processes regularly with this practice occurring within our school as well as between schools across our region. Moderation aims to provide teachers, schools, students and parents/carers with confidence that the standards awarded are valid and reliable judgments of student achievement.
