The school has received a number of complaints regarding traffic infringements issued along James Street to families collecting students as well as poor driver behaviour particularly in the Heal Street side of the school.

Contact has been made with Transport and Main Roads and the formation of a School Safe Travel Committee has begun with a school traffic review scheduled for early March. This committee comprises a representative from Police, Council, TMR, as well as a school and P&C representative.

The School reminds drivers to be aware of road rules and ensure to always conduct yourself in a considerate and safe way when on the roads. It is not the School's responsibility to monitor or educate driver behaviour.

Brisbane City Council will be moitoring the area in the coming days.
