  • Daily Writing

Writing, by hand, on a regular basis is very important for our students.  Providing stimuli and encouraging free writing has many benefits, including:

  • Improving stamina
  • Building creativity
  • Providing a vehicle for ‘student voice’
  • Linking to other areas of curriculum
  • Targeting ‘on the spot’ intervention – whole class and individual
  • Building student perception of themselves as writers
  • Giving opportunities for handwriting – cursive script by end of year 3

Ask your child what they wrote about, or drew in Prep, today.

  • Lunchtime Clubs

We are excited to offer the following lunchtime clubs during 2nd lunch; 1.20 p.m.- 1.40 p.m.  At the moment the clubs are open to Yr1 -6.

We hope to offer some different options in term 2.
