Our vision is to actively and responsibly pursue, promote and maintain a safe, respectful and inclusive learning environment for all. Our school community has been working with the pillars of our strategic plan being-

  • Curriculum
  • Inclusion
  • Innovation
  • Wellbeing

We have many superstars and champions within our school’s students, staff and families. Each term we celebrate the work done in each of these pillars. This work makes sure that our students have a life of choice rather than a life of chance. As this semester ends, we are formalising our acknowledgement of staff and students’ work in these pillars. So, let’s get the Champion Awards started……..

This staff member is nominated as an INNOVATION CHAMPION - Rachel Fletcher for their outstanding work in this field –

Mrs Fletcher has-

  • Demonstrated innovative ideas and willingness to learn new skills and apply these in her classroom.

Congratulations Mrs Fletcher on being nominated as our Term 4 2022 Staff Innovation Champion.

 

This student is nominated as an INOVATION CHAMPION for their outstanding work in this field-  Oliver M

Oliver has-

  • Made a huge step by successfully using his iPad independently to demonstrate his learning and assessment.

This staff member is nominated as an INCLUSION CHAMPIONfor their outstanding work in this field -Emma Kemph

Mrs Kemph has-

  • Demonstrated her commitment to gifted education and helped us with the Quest and Mini Festivals

This student is nominated as an INCLUSION CHAMPION for their outstanding work in this field- Ava D 

Ava has-

  • Welcomed new students and made sure that everyone has a friend in the playground.

This parent is nominated as a CURRICULUM CHAMPION for their outstanding work in this field-  Ms Louise Ware 

Louise has-

  • Been around school helping heaps.
  • She is always volunteering and happy to lend a hand

Congratulations to  Ms Ware on being nominated as our Term 4 2022 Parent Curriculum Champion.

These staff members are nominated as WELLBEING CHAMPIONS for their outstanding work in this field. 

Miss McLeod has-

  • Made a great effort with organising social events for our staff.

Mrs Keehan has-

  • Made everyone she encounters feel welcome and respected. From kids in sick bay, to new parents at the school, from new staff members to kids in swimming lessons. Jo is an asset to the school

This staff member is nominated as a CURRICULUM CHAMPION for their outstanding work in this field. 

 Mrs Blackadder has-

  • Ensured her units of work she develops aligns with the Australian Curriculum for both year levels in her composite class.
  • Demonstrated a deep understanding and keen interest in the curriculum.
  • Made valued contributions to the Curriculum Committee and has supported staff training in the teaching of Grammar.

 Emerson F has-

  • Made a huge improvement in meeting the curriculum expectations. Emerson listens, asks clarifying questions, completes the work, checks his work against the expectations and always asks for feedback. His determination to do well is inspiring.
