TENERIFFE FESTIVAL
What a wonderful community event we were able to participate in. It was an honour to be involved, and a joy to see our students perform. I also had some valuable conversations with members of the public about the great initiatives and work of our school. I’d like to extend a special thanks to the following people, as it ‘takes a village’-
- Peter Curby- for helping transport our props and stall equipment
- Peter Nash- for leading the Year 1 ‘Bear Hunt drama’ and designing the props
- Lesley Burridge- for helping with the ‘Bear Hunt drama’ and rehearsals
- Rebekah Davis- for leading the Prep ‘Gruffalo’ performance
- Keryn Heenan- for leading the Year 1-2 ‘We Are One’ performance
- Amalina from Creative Dance Industries- for leading the Year 3-6 Dance performance
- Sara Sheather- for helping set up the stall
- Anna Gardner- for helping supervise the stall
- Annabel DeBoer- for helping supervise the stall
- David Borg- for helping supervise the stall
- Marg Smith- for helping supervise the stall
- Laura Watson- for helping supervise the stall
- Cathy Van der Griend- for helping supervise the stall
- Kay Bradley- for helping supervise the stall and pack up
- Dane O’Hara- for helping pack up
- Peter McAllister- for helping pack up and returning the trailer to school
- Carmel McGrath- for helping supervise the stall and promote our school with the festival organisers, local and state MPs
