Premiers Reading Challenge

The Premiers Reading Challenge has begun!

For a student to complete the challenge, they must read or experience a book with a parent, the allocated number of books for their year level, during the reading period.

Students may pick up a form from the library or print one from here: Student reader record form.

Completed forms to be returned to the library to Mrs Lamb by the end of August.

New Library!

I am very excited to let you know that New Farm State School will have a brand new library in Term 3!

To assist with the big move, student class borrowing time will cease at the end of week 4.

Students may still visit the library for games and quiet reading until the end of term 2:

All students - 8:30 – 8:45am

Lower School – 11:15-11:40am

Upper School – 12:50 – 1:10pm

Now is a good time to find those library books that are hiding at home and return them to the library so we can get organised and start packing!

Don’t forget, students still have access to the EQ Digital Library through SORA to borrow ebooks and audio books. Try out these always available reads on SORA available through to August.

Students only need their MIS login. No password is required.
