Pick Up and Drop Off Zone
Thank you to all our drivers who are following our rules so that the area runs smoothly, drivers are not frustrated and children are safe.
Going Well:
- Drivers dropping children off only in the designated area where the signs and staff are
- Polite interactions
- Students arriving promptly at 3pm so that drivers are not waiting
- Students disembarking in timely way each morning
Needing improvement:
- Pedestrians should not walk across Heal Street in between waiting cars
- Bags or items should not be stored and retrieved from the boot of the car
- Pedestrians should wait at the crossing for the supervisor to indicate it is safe to cross
- Student name should be clearly displayed on the visor so that staff can call out names
- Some drivers still parking in pick up zones and across neighbour’s driveways
Safe and Relaxed Easter Break
After such a challenging term for many students, families and staff, I hope that the Easter break will allow some time to reconnect and refresh. I look forward to seeing everyone back for Term 2 starting TUESDAY 19 MARCH.
