Thanks to the Year 5 students who volunteered to help with the assembly this week whilst the Year 6 students were on camp. You did an amazing job! 

Our Transition to School Plan is now completed and will soon be published on our website. This plan focuses on the transition of students into Prep. Highlights of this plan include- 

• Term 2 survey of Prep parents regarding their child’s transition 
• Linkages with local Early Childhood Education Centre Kindergarten providers 
• Establishing a regular playgroup program 
• Under 8's week event 
• Accessing Kindergarten Transition Statements for all students 
• Utilising Age Appropriate Pedagogies 

Planning meetings with our teachers have commenced and these will continue next Monday 28th and Tuesday 29th March. Relief Teachers will take the classes for 2 hours on the allocated day, to allow for Teachers to attend their Term 2 planning meetings. 

Date claimers-  

• Yrs 3-6 Dance Extravaganza Wednesday 30th March 6:00-8:00pm in the hall. Families are welcome to attend. Gold coin donation entry. P&C will be selling drinks and snacks. All money raised will go to supporting The Arts program. See the attached flyer for your class’ performance times.  
• Prep-Year 1 Art of the World Exhibition Monday 28th March   - Friday 1st April before school. Student’s art work for the term will be on display. Come along and see some tribal masks, pottery and paintings in the Art Room under the hall (beside Prep B room and Prep Playground)
