From the P&C
Pre-loved Childrens’ Book Stall: $650 raised for the Library! – Fantastic effort New Farm Community! We look forward to next year’s stall.
Thanks to the generous donations of books from the school community, and all our shoppers, the Pre-loved Children’s book Stall raised $650 and donated dozens of books to our fabulous school Library. There is enough money to purchase some special books from independent retailers, while putting the remaining funds towards the new library fit-out. The stall was such a success we’re planning another one during book week in 2022!
Pre-loved Uniforms Shop: Over 800 items donated this year have found a new home!
We want to pass on a very large “thank you” to our wonderful school community for supporting the Pre-Loved Uniform shop this year. Throughout the year over 800 items of clothing were donated and we now only have a handful of items left (except jumpers).
Thank you for helping our community to support a sustainable lifestyle by reducing textile waste.

Congratulations and Salutations to Year 6 and leaving families:
64 Year 6 students will be leaving our New Farm school community to begin their next schooling journey this week. We are also bidding farewell to 49 families as they follow their youngest child.
To our departing families,
Thank you for all the reading, raffle ticket selling (& buying!), cakes, brownies, biscuits, school trips, tuckshop helping, setting up and pulling down, fete stalls, swim meets, sausage sizzles, and donations of every kind. Our school has been very fortunate to have had (and have) such passionate and giving parents.
There are a number of families in particular that have given an inordinate amount of time and enthusiasm to events and activities. Without them, New Farm SS would not be what it is today.
We wish all our departing families all the very best for the next chapter in your children's lives.
To our returning families, we look forward to starting the year off with a bang and hit the ground running!
Happy Holidays Everyone!
The P&C wishes you all the best for the festive season and 2021. Have a wonderful break!
