Step Up into Education

Education Qld’s Curriculum, Teaching and Learning branch is excited to announce the launch of the Step up into Education site which highlights strategies and processes to improve transition to school for students and families. The site shares practical examples of how identified schools are leading inquiries to improve transition to school, through a focus on effective partnerships and best practice approaches to early years curriculum and pedagogy. Thank you to the P&C and our Teacher Aides for spoiling us for World Teachers’ Day. We were delighted to receive some treats and the chance to socialise during our usual staff meeting.

3L Language Literacy for Learning Training

Our 5B Teacher, Mrs Blackadder, commenced tutoring the first 3L Group (It was the same day as Halloween Dress Up so some witches, fairies and mullet wigs joined also). It was very well attended by 10 staff early in the morning before school. Thanks to Mrs Blackadder for organising this group. We look forward to participating in this course over the coming weeks and into 2022.
