Project Captain Selections Term 1 2022
Due to a very limited number of nominations for 2022 Project Captains, we have decided to postpone the speech, voting and interview process until Term 1 of next year. In Year 6, the students will gain a greater understanding of the objectives of each project group and how they can best support each other for a common goal.
As in all previous years a badge ceremony for all school leaders will take place at the end of Term 1.
We greatly appreciate all current students who lodged a nomination and will ensure each is kept for next year.
P&C Meeting
Thank you to those parents and staff who attended Tuesday night’s meeting to approve the 2022 Student Resource Schemes for Prep and Instrumental Music.
On Thursday 11 November 6-8pm our final 2021 P&C general meeting will be held in the Curriculum Room. All Welcome.
Staffing
Thank you to Mrs Bradley and Ms Loudon for taking on the Acting roles as Principal and Deputy respectively during my recent leave. With Mrs Bradley on leave from this week, Mr Fenton will act in the Deputy Principal role until the end of the year. Mr Fenton will manage student welfare and other administrative duties during this period. We look forward to seeing Mrs Bradley return in 2022.
Congratulations to teachers who have recently accepted permanent teaching positions at New Farm State School: Hayden Lawrence, Eliza Horn, Ethan Fleming, Natasha Andrews, Tara Kennedy, Kyla Kerrisk, Annabel DeBoer, David Borg, Peter Nash and Kahli McLeod. Class and teacher allocations will be announced in the final week of term once we have completed our enrolment interviews.
