The Community and Charity Project group are thrilled with the support of the school community in donating food and toiletry items for Hampers for the Homeless. A special thanks to New Farm Deli, IGA New Farm and Coles New Farm for donating boxes and bags in which to make the hampers. A special thanks also to Terry White Chemmart at Coorparoo for a full box of donated toiletry items. A special mention to the two Captains Ava Hering and Addison Ryan and their mothers Lise and Bianca for working to move the donated hampers across to Queensland Shelter. A special thanks also to those who assisted with the collecting and sorting, Tony Ware and Mrs El-Fatah, to Hazel Hansen Gahan for showing particular initiative in this project, to Fiona Caniglia for being the contact person at Q Shelter and of course to the project members who manned to collection post each morning before school.
