New Building Project Timeline Update
We are pleased to announce that our new learning centre and administration building are projected to be open for Term 2, 2022. As we inch towards the end of the school year, service upgrades, external finishes and internal fit-out works will soon commence, as both buildings are almost foundationally complete. Thankfully, construction has had and will continue to have minimal impact on school operations and the local community. Unfortunately several factors have pushed back the original forecasted date of opening, such as the unpredictable nature of Covid-19, the relocation of heritage properties, wet weather and site decontamination. Although the project delivery has been slightly delayed, we expect to welcome our community into the new facilities early next year. The new learning centre and administration will provide the school with an upgraded space to meet curriculum and extra-curricular needs, while supporting enrolment growth at New Farm State School.
