Windsor Park Interhouse Track Day 

We were glad to have been able to have our Track Day last Friday at Windsor Park.  

It was tremendous to be having this opportunity, the students competed enthusiastically and many were on a regular athletic track for the first time. Many thanks to the City North Little A’s and to committee member, Vanessa Vickery, for assisting in organising the venue.  

The conditions were lovely for most of the morning. We appreciate the teachers and aides for their persistence later, through light and threatening rain to be able to finish the main events for selections to Districts. Moments after finishing the last of those we scrambled for extra cover as the rain set in. Consequently, we were unable to finish the scoring and present Age Champions, or the Inter-house trophy on the day. Congratulations to those who were successful in their events – our nominations will be given to the district according to the number of competitors we are allowed and information and permissions will be distributed this week. 

The Trophy and Age Champions will be announced on assembly after the Year 5 classes return from camp.
