What a successful BOOK FAIR!!!

Thank you to every single person who made a generous purchase at the Book Fair. It was a huge success with sales thought to be around $10,000. NFSS will receive 30% of purchases in the form of rewards to spend on new books for the library over the year.

Premiers Reading Challenge 2021

All New Farm State School students are encouraged to join in the 2021 Premier’s Reading Challenge! The reading period for the 2021 Premier's Reading Challenge commenced on Monday 10 May. Students can pick up a form from the library!

Record how many books your child has read on the individual reader record form and return to Mrs Lamb in the Library by 27 August. Every student who completes the challenge will receive a Certificate of Achievement signed by the Premier!

Dorothea Mackellar Poetry Competition

Students have until June 30 to submit their poems online in the annual Dorothea Mackellar Poetry competition for school children.

Online submission – Detailed instructions on how to enter student’s poems are on the Dorothea Mackellar website. Please use the login alamb105@eq.edu.au and password: newfarm.
